Using Spark Translator with MER???

I bought a Spark Translator from another member and was going to run it with my MER. I think Steve Y said that my chip was set up for 26 degrees of timing. Any advantages to using this besides being able to run pump gas???

Anyone here running the MER with a Spark Translator??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,

I'll let ya know in May when I use mine. I know I have to wait that long before I go to the track. Will do some street driving and I run alky there so it should help a bunch. There might be some advantage just have to play with.
