Finished the conversion. The pedal conversion was a PIA as expected. Just followed the RR nstructions and it was paint by numbers:)

There is a bit of difference when hitting the brake after running up the boost a bit but guess that is a good trade of for the expected dependability.

Have not tried any launches under boost yet.

now the questions.

If I ever want to go back to the PM setup, can the vacuum pedal be used?

Is there a difference when using a Tee off the PCV vacuum feed or using a 6 port TTA vacuum block?

Thanks in Advance

you would have to change pedals again,i know its a lot of fun.:D get yourself the right vacuum block, for me it made a world of diffrence.:D

block vs tee

Thanks for the reply.

I was hoping the pedal with more levearge and a smaller rod hole could be usable.

Would you know why it is not compatable?

I used the Tee but should be receiving a block in the mail in a few days.

What differences did you notice with the block ?

I just finished mine as well. I used the the brake bleeder kit and made sure I had clean fluid out of all of the bleeders.

I used my PCV connection for my brakes. Works good. I am able to hold as much or even more boost with the vaccum.

Damn brakes are awesome now. :)

Block installed higher pedal

Went from the tee to the block - used a block with all ports on the pass side.

Dont know if this is the TTA block or not.

If no one ever mention it this block is one pain in the ass!

I like the slightly better feel but I were to do it again I would definatly get the metal block with the sith port on the drivers side.

The vacuum block you acquired is a front drive block. The nipples are very close together and it's difficult to get all the hoses on. It's better to get a TTA block. It has the brake vacuum port on the booster side.

now I'm wiser

thanks again -

you are sure correct about the ports being too close

and the port for the brake is one size too large.

I felt like I used the cave man approach to fit the hose on, this looks prone to early failure.

I asked if it was a TTA block, but didn't know exactly what one should look like.

should have asked for a pick before agreeing to take it.

oh well - now others reading will avoid this block --

all my mistakes should be so inexpensive and easy to fix :):)

at least it help me see the difference from a Tee vs the block
