I replaced my PM with a vacuum brake booster. Currently it's vacuum source is from the PCV block on top of the T/B. I've read and have seen pictures of people tapping into a plenum spacer. I like that look much better. It's a cleaner look. Is it a matter of preference or is one way better then the other.
 
Preference. You can drill and tap the lower intake too instead of getting a spacer that does nothing.
