Do you have to use the vacuum pod with the brake tap or can you get vaccum from somewhere else?How hard is the conversion to do for weekend mechanic on a scale 1-10?Could someone put a pic up of a conversion done.
 
You dont have to use the pod but I believe there is a specific line to tap into. I think some have had vacuum trouble without the pod (search here). The install is straight forward - about a 3. It is a direct replacement. The hard part is getting the new pedal in. You have to lay on your back and squeeze your hands/arms in places that dont fit. Bleeding the brakes is no fun either. If you need written instructions, I will look out in the garage latter today.
