I tried vacuum set & it was totally UNSATISFACTORY. I now like the 84 - 85 hydroboost. Another option would be manual brakes - KISS (keep it simple stupid).

Bought mine as a kit from postons abt 4 -5 yrs ago. I think i had to drill the hole in the brake pedal or smething. works like a champ since installed.

Monte SS or Regular Monte,84 to 87. Master Cyl, booster, & pedal setup under dash. Also a T vacuum block from a TTA or just T off any vaccum supply.
The Regular Monte has the single diaphram booster which fits better in the regal.
The SS has dual diaphram which means you have to bend your brake lines forward to reach the master cyl.

Pedal from donor vac brake Gbody in JY, etc
Id recommend the Booster and MC bought from the parts chain stores since tehy will have a Lifetime warranty and it is just alil over a hundred or so bucks.
Or hit up RedRegalT as he has a good rep for his used stuff
