Vacuum Connectors from MAP sensor

Where can I get those small connectors that goes from the map sensor to the vacuum block ? Mine are dry rotting and you get black crap on your hands when you touch them . Thanks in advance Keith

I think the Dorman 47432 will work , the local auto zone carries them . I'm gonna pick up some this evening and will let you know if they work .

Just got home and they went on with no problem , the old ones was nasty as hell . I would buy 2 boxes of them cause they only have the one size in each pack .

Even if new, these should still be well secured, as it *can* be expensive if there is a leak in the signal.

what are you suggesting zip ties or just making sure correct size and double check pushed all the way on
I had to zip tie some of mine straight line connections after an over boost situation

I only use 100% silicone hose now. Replace it once and be done.

In my experience, silicone hose will swell under boost and collapse under vacuum.

The best hose IMO is rubber windshield washer hose. 2 sizes cover it all. 7/32" and 5/32" High quality stuff!!

Fwiw: I tested some hose to ~50 psi and didn't notice any issues.

I have not done any testing but I have seen silicone vacuum hose collapse under vacuum. Not sure if it was thick stuff or not.
It's obviously much softer than rubber stuff though. The rubber hose I posted is thick rubber that is somewhat soft. I squirt a little brake cleaner in the end to help slide on the fitting. Rock solid hose thats not coming off.
