i have xfi
i just switch injector from 75's to 83's
i just changed the injector size number in the fuel calc section
just want to make sure this is all that is needed????


car starting and drove great and my injector d/c went from 98% down to 68% at 25psi:biggrin:

not back for a set of injectors i got as an even sway for my 75's

That should be all that you need, but different size and brand injectors may have slightly different characteristics, so just watch it a little for a little while. Otherewise, I doubt much if anything will need to be changed.

This is incorrect. I sent you a PM with the other tables that need to be changed and what values to change them to.

Well, I guess you learn something everyday. Care to share or is this all a secret? I mean, that is what these bulletin boards are for. Right?
 
No secrets, just making sure my customer is taken care of. For starters, any table that deals with a raw pulse width will need to be adjusted for the larger injector.

Believe it or not, I have seen other XFI dealers tell their customers to trim their VE tables by 20% when swapping injectors instead of doing things correctly :rolleyes:

Well, that's good to know that you can't just change injector size.

If your tuneup isn't very close then you may get away with it. The bigger the injector change the more critical it is to tweak the other tables.
