Value of '82 1/2 GN?

I just got a lead on a non-turbo '82 1/2 that has several new parts, the body is in good shape, new seat covers still in the box. This info is from a buddy that saw it first hand, but knows nothing about Regals. The gentleman is moving this weekend and is trying to unload a bunch of stuff before he goes. He was asking $2000, but I could probably negotiate with him. I didn't think I'd ever be interested in one, but if the price is right... what the heck, right? anybody have any ideas as to what a ballpark value of these is? Hard to say without seeing it, I realize. Thanks,

The seat covers would be worth some decent money if they are originals. Sounds like a fair deal if it runs well.


If the body is rust free, and it runs, negotiate it way down, drive it to Chicago and I give you $2,000 for the package.
