I have a CZ and a CR coded valve body. Both have converter clutch T.V. plugs but one has no valves behind the plug while the other has two valves behind the bore plug--ATSG manual shows no valves.

What do these valves do?

Should I remove the valves from the VBs that have them?

Ok first the difference is the one with valves is an early 83-older
not computer controlled lock up and no you cannot remove them.
Also seperator plates MUST be kept with early with early and late with late. Those are the only two differences.

Second, do not screw with the bore plugs!

Third, the CZ VB you have is one of the most desired VB out there.Do NOT let anything happen to it especially a Transgo shift kit!!!!!!

The other one you have (CR) you can use to hold the door open as a doorstop, or an anchor while fishing:D
Hope this helps.......:D
