Valve Body Swap

I bought a 200r4 from Bowtie Overdrives, its doin good, but the shift points arent right, gonna swap my factory valve body into it, which had a shift kit installed already. Im just wondering about check balls falling out when removing and where they should be when i replace the valve body. This is my only car, so it cant be tied up long. I believe there will be a few above the valve body plates and gaskets, just wondering where they should go during install, or how i can find out where they should be.
