Here is how I do mine.......

passenger side....
remove nut for wastegate solenoid bracket on top front bolt. Then remove all 4 bolts. Curse, swear, twist, pull, and manuever the cover from between the heater core lines and the AC box.:mad: I know it doesn't seem like it will come out, but it does , EVENTUALLY.:rolleyes:

Drivers side...
Just like above, minus the wastegate solenoid and the frustration.:D

I used the rubber fel-pro set, dry. They seemed to work for me. It's really just your preference on what gaskets you use. I think the most important thing, at least IMHO, is to use the tabs on the gasket and place them in the openings in the valve cover. It seemed to help keep everything together when you reassemble everything.

Especially the Passenger side.
At least the above has worked for me.
