Valve cover gaskets

Hi All,

Finally have to break down and replace my valve cover gaskets as the pass. side is leaking like a sieve. Can this be done w/out removing the up/down pipe from the turbo or should I take 'em off. Appreciate any opinions. Thanks.

I had a hard time just replacing the spark plugs without taking the up and down pipe off. I think that the pipes will have to come off.

Definitely impossible to do without taking off the up and down pipes. If I remember right, I also took off the alternator.

ya just gotta remove the up-pipe so u can pull the cover out n up

no need to unbolt the downpipe, cuz if u do, its gunna slide further down towards the valve cover.


try take the up pipe off, and pulling the side closest to the alternator out and up first

re install in reverse prodecure
