Valve springs

I've heard a lot of talk about replacing the factory valve springs. When is this needed?

Probably about 8 years or so ago for your car.

Stockers don't last too long and are nowhere near the rated spec. over time.

My old ones I took off this year measured 60-66lb.s. Spec. is ~80.

112K and 135K.

Worth doing in MHO.

Mines got 38k on it, so I wasn't sure if it needed it or not. Good idea then?

It also has 15 years on it.

If you would like me to check one of your original ones, after you replace them, I can do it at work here. We have a very accurate machine to do it.

I was glad I got rid of mine, should have done it years ago.
