Does anyone know the 1/4 time or top speed of a 2003 vmax. I am just curious.

motorcycle news is on the net and has a sheet showing the 1/4 times of most bikes. I believe that the 1/4 mile time on an earlier year V-Max was about 10.50 or so. try

It's been 18 years but I can still remember Cycle World test that showed it burning the tire with really cheezy flames inserted in the pic.
Seems like 145 was the top. It also mentioned hitting a little sand on the top speed run and having the tire break loose at like 125+.
1985...............reading motorcycle mags and remembering that stuff all this time later but I couldn't do anything they showed me in freshman algebra.

Vmax Top Speed
JohnDeereGN finally rode one today!!!!!!!! He is smiling like a kid in a candy store! I live two blocks away and can still hear him slobberin while he is at his computer!!!!!!

This the best VMAX board out there!
keep it up! I've been around 135 on mine(much more exciting than 155 on a friends busa if you know what I mean). Top end is uncomfortable on a VMAX due to wind resistance and such. I believe they run out of gear at 145-150mph. Mine went 11.3 w/ a crappy 117 mph(tuning problems). But,, hows a 1.65 60 ft. Its all stock
