Today I decided to start the car up and the battery was dead. Somehow the battery tender became disconnected over the last month or so. So once I got the battery charged back up and got the car started it had a VSS fault code. I let the car run for a few minutes and then shut it down and restarted it and the fault was gone. Could the fault be because of the dead battery. I restarted it again and no fault.
