Due to the previous owner installing a 145 mph speedometer face plate and reducer, the vss reads low by around 40%. Because of this, the torque converter will not lock-up (until I get up to around 90 mph). Can I get my TT chip modified to lockup when the vss reads 35 mph....or would it be easier to go back to an 85 mph speedo? Other than torque converter lock-up, does the chip rely on accurate mph reading for anything else?

Yes, the chip can be changed to compensate. The chip uses MPH for many other features also.

What other features of the chip reference mph and can you compensate for them as well? I am seriously thinking about going back to the 85 mph speedometer, the odometer also read low.
