vss or speedo cable?

my speedo doesn't work when i first start in the morning or after it sits for about 6-8 hours. after i drive it for about 5 min the speedo works fine. i do have the digital dash. does the vss have any thing to do with that or is it the cable? thanks in advance

Mine did this for awhile and it was the cable. It read 0mph
when cold and then ran slower MPH while it warmed up.

yep thats the same problem. i figured that it was the cable just wanted to make sure that it was nothing else. thanks ED

how much of a pain in the butt is it to change the speed o cable? im going to need to change it very soon. like maybe this weekend. thanks in advance
