Car runs ok but when it's warm and I turn it off I have to wait 15 - 20 min to restart???? Somebody give me a cure for this

Does it take 20min for the starter to talk or the engine to bust off?

if the starter spins point your focus towards the ignition module.

If it wont even spin over, then look at the battery cable, ground lead and ring terminals.

Try turning your base fp down and see if that helps. Had a similar problem and my fp was to high.

^You'll probably blow up your engine.

or if you're lucky, just nose over and have a healthy ass backfire.

I had a starter that would heat soak - the less time I waited since shutting off the slower it would crank. 20 min was about the point where it might get the motor started.
