Just what the title says. I bought a dash and it looks a lot darker than GN grey. I think I got screwed.

I don't know the answer to your question but I have a nice gray dash out of an '87 Regal if you're intersted. Put next to my stock GN dash it looks the same. However, it might be pricey to ship to Oregon.

Good luck with yours tho - hopefully it's just an optical illusion or something.

A darker color would indicate that you have a 84/85 GN dash, identical as an 87,just darker.Dye it with a perfessional grade etching dye and it will look better than a used one and it wont peel off.go to the best interoir shop and have some mixed up (take a A PIllar or something to compare the correct color /match)

Thanks for posting up guys. I assumed I would have to die the dash. I live in BFE so I don't have the option of hitting an paint place that can mix me up something. Any alternatives? Is there someplace out there that can mix up 86-87 GN gray dye and send it out? Thanks.

i think they sell SEM (good quality and comes in an aerosol can)dye which is very good.Ive used it with great results.
