does anyone have any pictures or diagrams to show how it bolts on. the front of my engine was dissasembled when i purchased it. i can't find 2 holes that line up with the holes on the actuator.
there is also a long curved black rod that is some sort of support bracket to something. it bolts to near the bottom of the engine
and is sticking straight up toward the a/c compressor but i don't think it bolts to anything up top. thanks,
tim

I'll give it a shot. The wastegate acuator bolts on the underside of your turbo. The rod should be pointing towards the elbow. The black rod sounds like the support bracket for the intercooler. Bottom end connects near the crank sensor and the other ends connects (I think, I'm at work) on or around the alternator.

TE series turbos have to use a modified actuator as the holes in the stock actuator don't line up.

Have you tried redrilling holes in the actuator to line up with the compressor housing bolt holes? (two of the six bolts on the back side of the compressor)

It does not bolt up to that support bracket.
