does this need to be hooked up to complete a circuit? I am running an rjc boost valve and want to eliminate this since it is unhooked anyways, when I put on my new valve covers.

Nope put some eletrical tape around it and done!

It'll trip a code if it's not hooked up.

let it idle up to temp and no codes. did'nt drive it yet since it's raining.

No codes here, I eliminted mine two years ago.

Mines not there and I don't have a code either, at least not for that! I also run a TT chip so it might be eliminated. HTH. james
