Thanks for the reply--thought I would need to buy one but found one in my junk. Next ? --standing @ the pass fender--looking @ the solenoid--wires are toward the front of car and hose connections are pointed toward firewall--which port does the hose for the wastegate go to--top or bottom. Thanks
I hooked mine to the port closer to the up pipe, but I don't think it matters....When wastegate solenoid is open, its open to the atmosphere regardless of which port you use.
Look HERE for a picture and explanation of the vacuum venting. I thought the TTA had the smaller vent....???
I'd recommend a manual boost controller anyway....
It's cool when it works again, huh? I messed up early on and put a reg open y fitting on durign a vac line replacement effort, at a time when I also had a leaky set of headers (and had trouble seeing 10 PSI.) When I finally replaced the headers, I had a wicked overboost problem... Until I wised up! Did a search on the problem, and found johns performance!
