The driver of the Honda, a 20-year-old Merrimack man, contacted police within an hour of the accident.

Police were still not clear on what caused the tire to come off the Honda. Hammond said the driver of the Honda would not be charged with leaving the scene of an accident because he was not aware that his tire had struck anyone or anything else.

Hmmmm, wonder why he didn't contact police for an hour?

This obviously wasn't in Michigan. He would have been charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident here since the law mandates damage to any vehicle on a public road over $400 reported to the police forthwith. I imagine driving on a freeway and having your tires fly off would cause $400+ in damage.... I love nailing ricers!

long walk? althow i would imagin that he would have had a cell phone with him. i thaught there were standard equipment on rice boys? guss it flew out of the window when his dub poped off.
