I'm putting a new motor in the gn for the first time in 5 years. Where is the best place to put the water and oil pressure sending unit on the motor. thanks windmill

Best place for the water temp sender is to replace the one that's sticking out the front of the manifold just slightly to the passenger side of and slightly below the thermostat pipe.

Oil sender, is usually "T'd" in down where the stock sender is.

You need the stock unit in place. It's wired in parallel with the fuel pump relay. If the fuel pump relay fails, the car will still start once oil pressure builds during cranking.
