Water temp thread size

Can someone tell me the thread size of the hole where the water temp sensor goes. Right next to the t-stat housing passenger side.

Most likely 1/4NPT. Possibly 3/8NPT. It's been a while since I paid any attention to them.

Pretty sure it's metric going in to manifold.

Metric pipe thread?? Doubt it.

look up the sender on rockauto or napaonline..

my money is on 3/8" NPT, since that's what every other GM car of the era had and most of them use the exact same sensor.
