Amazing how many scumbags out there that go through life with different set of rules and think that ending a life is the solution. You can always walk away and see another day, better yet, when they catch this clown he'll have a date with Bubba and that's somebody I don't ever want to meet.

I have a hard time thinking that we will be paying about 30k per year to house this looser when they catch him to be in jail. He should have to write how sorry he is to the parents for life. Once a week a hand written letter and let him deliver to this poor kids Mom and Dad.

Since I have this stupid innate urge to ALWAYS try to look at both sides of every story...

It's possible the dead guy WAS the scumbag. Dead guys in parking lots sometime are...

A guy my ex-wife grew up with ended up as a dead guy in a parking lot. He'd just sold the wrong guy some bogus crank. Was pretty sad for all involved as his family saw this coming for years. I don't believe he needed to die for his sins, but he was playing with fire... They did finally catch the guy who killed him, he was no prize either.

I guess we will not know until they catch the person that did it to hear his side of the story.

Did you discover the body? I feel for you, sometimes it can really be disturbing...especially if it's a violent death. Car accidents or natural death corpses aren't too bad, but murder....just plain sad.

Depending on the clues and the tenacity of the detectives, they might not even FIND the culprit. Many crimes, including murder, go unsolved. I remember a few years ago in Deerfield Beach they found a guy in his fifties at his own front door with his own steak knife in his chest...never found the killer.

My parts counter guy found the body first. I then walked outside and saw it:eek: It really shook me up, you know when somebody is dead and this dude was stiff and his lips were blue. The police claim he was shot around 10.30pm, so his body was outside all night until we saw him.

It sucked the family came down Saturday to the dealership and wanted to see were he was found, they were crying and said a prayer and left.

After watching CSI and all these other shows, I would think they would be able to catch the guy who did this. I guess sometimes that stuff is very far from the truth.

CSI is so unrealistic. I was just discussing that with a friend of mine last night. With police budgets being what they are, many of the high tech gadgets out there and the training to use them don't exist. If the killing was random, the only physical evidence could be the bullet, and that doesn't do a whole lot. Usually those types of crimes are tipped off by someone squealing on someone else or someone trying to get a reduced sentence by admission.

Good points and I am with you. Although there were about 10 Homicide cops here, I did not see any high tech gadgets like used on CSI. The only neat thing was they bagged his hands as they knew there was a struggle, the cop told me that they bag the hands to protect the finger nails if there is any skin under them from the assailant.

Yeah, they'll do that in certain domestic cases also...they don't have to be dead to do it. I bagged a chick's head once for evidence...turned out to be a bad idea. She...uhh...suffocated or something....hence me working at Burger King now.
