What is the average going rate for Gm weather stripping for a hardtop door, upper window, trunk, and outer belt?

About $800 just for the door and window/roof seals. No other aftermarket seals are worth a damn compared to the GM seals. The others are discontinued but there is aftermarket ones.

I know the aftermarkets are pretty much crap and want to go with GM's if possible just wondering what i'm going to be paying for them!

Gm still contracts with their oem supplier to make 87 G body weatherstripping? Are you sure about that?

The trunk and hood lip seal are discontinued along with all t-top weatherstripping. The door and roof rail are also discontinued but are still available with a few vendors that bought them up in quantity so I'm told. GM restoration seals are in the making according to a well known vendor I spoke with.

Depends on how they were stored. I would not buy ones that were hanging out in the garage for 10 years. Inside the house different story.

Don't they dryrot because of age? Plus, is GM still making those seals? I was told they quit years ago.

Not a 100% sure but I think they got discontinued around 10 years ago. If the seals are still in the sealed factory wrapper and stored in a climate controlled environment they still should be good to go.

I purchased a complete set for a Ttop from Gmpartsdirect about 9 years ago, and had them professionally installed. Short story: They suck , so OEM GM seals mean nothing to me.

Just put a new pass side glass seal from am-autoparts on. Will do the drivers side later(much later, jeez!) Wow, the old junk was a royal pita to remove, but I cleaned the track the best I could. The new strip fit nicely in the grooves and is very puffy(except at the top but appears to be made that way on purpose like the originals), and looks to seal the window alright. Letting it break in by leaving the window up and door shut, so time will tell! It was around $63 for the pair.

I ended up fabricating a window seal set from a t-top camaro (98-01) and that was after the reproduction ones I bought failed. I have bought two eom sets and none fit right, so best bet is to fabricate something that will keep the rain out and carpet dry. Just my opinion.
