I know this has been beat to death but I'm hoping someone can help. I've tried a few of the aftermarket seals and they are terrible. They are so stiff I can't close the door. I would use the old ones but they ripped into a million pieces. Am I missing something here? With all these cars being restored, what's everyone using? GM ones are non existent.

i searched the earth for original GM ttop and door seals for one restoration. I found the R door seal and L door seal at different times.

I would check with Pete Hoffman, he can recommend different brands for different parts of the car.

Nos is the best way to go! I just scored some roof rails a few months ago did the install and it was perfect. The only other brand worth using is Metro. None of the aftermarket are worth using on the t tops they all suck.

I changed the passenger side upper door strip a couple years ago. The way it fits, I'm in no hurry to do the driver's side.
