i did a search, but it still seems kind of confusing. here is what i think i should do... use aftermarket door weatherstrip and OE GM roof weatherstrip. does this sound correct? can i save a little money by getting the aftermarket door weather strip? wiil it work alright. but get the OE roof weatherstrip to get a good seal around the windows. any advice would be appreciated. thanks.

Do as you want but I used GM t-top weatherstrip & aftermarket door weatherstrip & the doors sucked..didnt even look the same..close but not close..I could see daylight through the door in the front corner so when I drove it was making alot of air noise of course..I took them off & sold them & now have purchased GM ones..not really alot more & look like they are suppose to...I havent drove the car with them yet but I dont see daylight in the front anymore..Id buy the factory ones while you still can & save all the work..

120 bucks vs over 400 seems like a big difference to me. being in college kind of hurts the bank account.

If money is the problem stay with the ones you have on the car now..mine looked terrible & had rubber coming off of them all over but didnt let air in..your decision..new looking but terrible fit or good fit & pay a lil more..

They wernt of fof ebay..It was one of the vendors from here just cant remember where..I think kirbans but not sure..
Also..I bought my GM's about 2 years ago & I think they were 75 each side so almost 200 verses 100..pay a lil more now or a lot more later..just my opinion

unfortunately i have to replace them. i am replacing the hinges in my driver door, and replacing the door with one that doesnt have rust on it. so i have to replace the rubber to paint the door. i was just hoping that there would be a little bit cheaper way out. i had planned on doing both doors at once, but i guess i will bend over for the GM rubber. thanks for the help.
