Hey, guys, just got a virus mail from webmasters@turbobuick.com this could be a fake sender, but you should all be aware of it. If the admins want a copy, just get ahold of me.

Ok, I sent the mail to both addresses. If you don't get it check to see if your virus software picked it up.

No damage came to me, I just wanted to make sure nothing happened to anyone else.

send it to virus@lezted.com I am not an admin of this board, rather a network systems admin (I would like to take a look at it). I'd say what you are looking at is a spoofed email address, you or another member has somepeson@turbobuick.com in the local address book. When the computer opens an email or runs on an unpatched Windows OS, the virus will send many of these spoofed emails out from the local address book or contacts list. Many recent viruses have been pushing the spoofed email thing pretty hard, even spammers are using it

I forwarded the message to you. I agree, after further investigation, it appears to be a NETSKY variant. And it appears to use spoofed e-mail addresses.
