at wide open throtle my t-links readings max out temp at 303,volts 24.5,45.7 retard what could be the cause of this car runs fine no problems at all with t-link except at wot could i have a problem with alt spiking at wot, have a casper volt boster instaled

Is this v2? v3? or v4?

WOT wierdness seems to sometimes be related to one of the following:
  1. Weak grounds ... check back of the pass. side head and the strap from the trans bellhousing to the firewall
  2. Positive battery cable where it passes under the header. Insulation sometimes gets heat "cooked" and shorts when the motor torques
  3. Cable that attaches to the battery and the back of the alternator
  4. Electrical "noise" from the TCC solenoid/high speed fan relay
  5. Volt booster over voltage (might try disconnecting it for a run)
  6. Bad quad driver in the ECM
    [/list=1]

That said ... if it's an early v3 hardware module, contact us and we may be able to help with the improved v4 module (it's less sensitive to overvoltage).

Hey Ken i have the v3 how do i get the update,Thanks you have allway been a big help love your products:D

Did the problem arise after the install of your alcy kit? I have the same problem since the install and suspect the routing of the alcy harness.I haven't had time to move harness and confirm this theory though. Just a thought.

Hmmm ... I wonder if something in the alcohol soleniods is feeding back through the wiring?

At this point I am unable to drive the car(Installing new door/T top seals). In about a week I will be able to run it again.I did notice with mine(right after the install last weeked)that when I primed the alcy pump the readings jumped wildly.Since the car/Turbo link had no problems before the install common sense tells me the problem is in the alcy system wire routing, pump winding,etc..I noticed the wiring was touching the ign. module. Also noticed the positive lead to the control box was awfully close to the data connector, possibly the cause.??Won't know until I run it again. In a last ditch attempt I'd shield the alcy wiring.Note:I have not turned off the alcy(and turned down the boost) yet to see if the problem goes away!
