Ok, I put in a free transmission in the GN last night. Everything seemed fine when I fired the car up. No noise or anything.
I go to put it in Reverse and nothing. It was like it had a TransBrake in it. It wouldn't move but I could rev it real high and the engine would make tons of boost.
I go to put it in Nuetral and nothing. Acts just like it did in Reverse.
I put it in Drive and everything is COOL! What gives. It drives good shifts good.
It's another one of those BQ trans out of an 85 GN. The guy said he had no idea about the history of it and just gave it to me for free. I've had bad luck with BQ trans and thought I would give it another shot.
