It was good...

Turnout on the light side, GREAT weather (the best in the past few years), the usual friendly track people, good friends, through out, few vendors, Turbobuicks.com, Southeast Turbo, (forgive me if I missed any others), not too many heavy hitters this year. Some very nice Buicks and other muscle cars;)

got to see a 9.48 @ 140 GN
got a new personal best in the park ave. aka silver beast
great event, laid back..not busy

new best at 141.30 MPH

It was great, turn was okay with hardly little or no waiting in the lanes. The weather was cool with great air.

I managed to make a couple high 9 second passes off the footbrake with my slow 60ft times, finally. The first one was right off the trailer at 9.97.
I ran another new best at 141.30 MPH.
My son Rob, also ran his stock long block TTA with a new best of 11.39 on Alky and 93 octane.
So you guys know, I had fun as always at Reynolds.
It is great place to run and real friendly people at the track. I have never missed the Reynolds event over the years. It is a great place to hang out with my Buick friends.
They said next year was a go!

Congrats Bob, thats an awsome feeling getting that 9 second pass under your belt. 141mph with a good 60ft is good for at least a 9.60.....

race

Thanks for the people who dropped by our area. Most of our club members came down and ran . I even beat a Zo6 !!

Thanks Bill,
I ran with over 3/4 in the fuel tank. I ran a 9.95 with 3 5gal cans of race fuel in the trunk, talk about lead! I thought my son had unloaded them and he thought I did. One of those things you hate to admit. LOL
I might move the battery one day then again maybe not.
Needless to say I have enjoyed that block you sold me. Your convertor still kicks butt.
Tell your dad hello.

Hey Jack,
Missed you this year.
Your right, I have to work on the 60ft. I need a little more seat time before BG 2005. I am glad to get the 9s under my belt.

You guys know, I do things the hard way, but I love it.

Bob, more seat time, you say ????

man-o-man, I am still trying to recover from the 5 car advantage off the line at the Nationals, God forbid what will happen with more seat time.

Good job Bob, great seeing you at Reynolds with you family, sorry we did not have a chance to spend a little bit more time together shooting the breeze. C-U at thr Nationals '05, if not before.;)
