LOL...50% of the time I don't know if they're serious
or just kiddin...get used to it, I did!

Hey everyone, just wanting to give you an update on the whole prompaq/ecm/chip situation. It turns out the prompaq was shorting everything out at the key switch. The teeny-tiny wires that run to the switches LED bulbs are in bad shape and was concealed with electrical tape to the switch body. Im still not 100% sure why my car was acting up after removal of the prompaq but after trying my buddies ecm then plugging mine back in all is well. Kinda strange but at least it's running again.

With that being said Im still am going to attempt to run the prompaq one more time after I repair its wiring issues.

These cars just aren't hard enough to make run right without complicating them anymore.......... You decided to double the chance for problems and now you cry the blues.......

Good luck to you.

Jus' sayin'..........

Harsh - but true.

Ain't no doubt.
Sometimes you don't look at them cross ways or you'll be working on something for the next 2 weeks.

LOL - a glutton for punishment.

But cool that at least things go back to semi-normal.
