and saw a GN in Englishtown with a guy Mike Nogrady or something like that. Nice car,

Is he here on the board?

Yes, think so. It was a rerun and I remember him posting on the site (or the one with an S after it  ). I think it was Nogrady on the last name. You might find it on a search possibly.

The Gn you saw on "Pinks" belongs to Mike Nogrady, a really nice guy from New Jersey (best e.t. of 9.56 @ 140.78 ). His whole car was prepared by Jack Cotton, only a few weeks before the show was recorded!..

Claude.

Hello! Yes, I'm on the board. It was crazy couple of days. We had finally got the boost control issue nailed down the morning of qualifing and we had no idea where the car was going to run so we left if @ 18 psi.(It was really the about the sixth pass since the car was completly apart!) That's when I clicked off the 9.91 pass. We really weren't totally prepared to run in the nines. I would have never made it that far if it wasn't for Jack! He was by my side the whole time!

You represented us well!! Rich liked it that a GN made the field. I think he's a closet Buick enthusiast but a known Mopar supporter. Good job and good job to Jack too!

I remember he gave a " crowd pleaser" comment about a GN a while back. I made it into the July Pinks All Out at Martin Michigan....I can't wait.

Didnt U have the trans issue?

I was so bumbed when U went down if its the race I'm thinking of. That stroke with the Trans Am made that g@y@ss comment about "Thats a Turbo car gettin beat by a Nitros car". If that guy had won the whole thing I would have died. Anyway nice job.

Thanks! Yes, that is the episode! I almost died myself when I heard him say that! That guy with the T/A didn't even finish his sentence and my phone was ringing with Jack screamin' on the other end! He was posting on Jack's board so we called him out there. I posted this on the Pinks update thread on Jack's board,

"Now, I have some unfinished buisness to take care of with one T/A who's "nitrous" car took down the "turbo" car. If by my shifter malfunctioning you mean taking down the turbo car then yes you did.
Why don't we set something up so we can see what really would have happened if my car was 100%. Jason, are you busy next Saturday? LVD sounds good to me."

Yeah, no reply. Funny, he never even signed back in after the episode first aired! I guess his big bad nitrous car was afraid of my little 109 block! He goes to Lebanon Valley so we will meet again one day....This time he won't be so lucky.....I guarantee it;)
