...and found out some things about the car. This is the first time I have run the quarter since the new turbo, chip and injectors.
Running a 21 degree chip and 38 lb. injectors, I ran a 12.23 @ 111 mph. Not shabby, especially considering the crappy conditions. Rainy that morning and VERY humid the rest of the day. I ran that time at 23 psi of boost and 46 psi of fuel. The car seemed the happiest there. On the first run I accidently moved the boost up to 26 psi, and would have been close to the 11's but I had to get out of it. Man, I was moving for about half the track. Had a 1.65 60 foot on that run also. I also noticed the car was leaning out on the top end. Those injectors are maxed out.
So with my street chip and little injectors, I'm in the 12.20's. the car has a lot more in it, but now I'm back asking myself that question. How fast is fast enough.
Next I would need alky, a hotter chip and 50 pounders. How much is that, about $1200 bucks............chickenfeed for a fireman!
