I assume you mean the MAT. I wouldn't think it would make much difference.

The IAC goes under the throttlebody.

Oops yep your write the mat sensor so it doesn’t matter where I put it could I just hang it someplace or does it have to be with the air flow.

It wont give your computer an accurate reading unless its in the MAF pipe. MAT= manifold air temperature sensor.

Mine is in the plenum. That way you can measure the temp. of the air coming into the engine.

No......It'll run a little "melted" Or do you have one of those e-bay wide band MAT sensors.

actually i beleave it might be the air temp sensour.
