I went from a Kenne Bell Hi/Lo Pro chip with 23.9 degrees timing to a JC 93 chip that has either 19 or 20 degrees. I could leave the line with 0 boost with the KB chip and get good traction, now with the JC chip I HAVE to leave at idle cause it rips the tires loose.
I remember TurboDave doing a test with different timing chips and getting the same results. SOOOO, what about 15 degrees or 10 degrees? That should tear the tires into oblivion. Just crank the boost. Sounds quite interesting. Maybe something I should look into. ERIC.:D

You reach a point of diminished returns when you start taking timing out. Also because of the way the ECM is set up and the rate that the load comes up, you can have a drastic effect on your WOT midrange by taking the timing too low.
