a big loss in power is the hot air for our cars...

how could you cool down the air in the intercooler more efficiently?

are there ways to do that and how?

thx

matt

edit: the blower behind the intercooler... when does it run, is it switched by a thermostat?

The most common way to cool the charge is by using an alcohol injection system. There is other ways, CO2 is one, it's sprayed onto the ic and the up pipe. The alky is sprayed into the intake like nitrous which is another way to cool the air charge.
The fan behind the ic actually sucks air thru the ic and it is bolted to the crank so it is in operation when the motor is running.
