First nice day in months, pulled Buick out after ripping into it this winter and as the pic shows...the aftermath..or afterbirth..sheesh i got a mess to clean up

At least you have space to work! Try tearing into a Buick with another Buick parked next to it in a two car garage with bicycles and other random garbage.

yeah i know, when its all cleaned i could put the other 76, the 61 and the buick with room to work on all sides.

that dang vette is getting to be a big eyesore though
was a restoration but lost intrest when i got the buick.
was close, had frame off, all new poly, rebuild on motor, just dropped body down then the TR came along and was like screw that..i got me a turbo regal yahooooooooo

Just kidding, mine is a little too messy too. I always get another job, usually someone else's car, before I get a chance to clean up after myself.

hay if u two (mcasteel2112 & jwillettgn) if you want to sell the vetts we have a father and son opperation here in Gibsonburg ohio that will buy and restor them. or do it for you. That will give ya some room for another regal :biggrin: I doo know the feeling i will try to get picks tomarrow. I striped out 2 Regals back in jan. Trying like hell to have my friend to come get the one and raceing aginst time before the town gripes about the parts laying around the driveway It is got to be something in this dumb town.

I have thought about selling it but the plan was to fix it up after the kids get out of college so we will have some money to work with. Now it looks like it will be several years to pay off the college loans. My Vett is a 74 L-82 I bought brand new in 74 and only has 48,000 miles on it. It needs front and rear bumpers, seals in the trans because of sitting so long, and a new exhaust. Not too much demand for 74's though so I will be better off just keeping it. It would be cool with a pro charger on it to play around with.
