Could i do it myself if i ordered the parts or is there machinework? i can build an engine, i kinda figured a turbo wasnt difficult, but i know how precise these things are setup.
my te44 is smoking a little on startup and im just planning for the worst.
where could i get it rebuilt at if i cant do it? are there upgrades to it to make it bigger/flow more? i think i read about a 6157 upgrade or something of that nature, im just not sure exactly what it consists of.
thanks for any help

The biggest part to rebuilding one properly is balancing the the shaft. If you do not have the tools you will want to find someone who has a balancer.

ive got a tire balancer, thats about the same right? jk jk
well i dont have a turbo shaft balancer so i guess that rules it out haha
