what are some good horror movie?

Aliens is one of my favorite scary movies. However, if you want to see a REALY messed up movie, rent one of the Faces of Death videos (I recommend part IV). Thats some pretty messed up $#!@ right there!

Not really scary, but "FREAKS" filmed im 1932 was extremely controversial in its day as it was filmed using real side show freaks as the actors. tomorrow night on TCM is the Frankenstein marathon. Not considered scary now but some of us older guys who grew up watching Creature Features still get a kick out of those films.

Ah yes, Todd Browning's Classic - Freaks (it was on TCM Wednesday night). That was considered so frightening it wasn't allowed to be shown on TV until about 5 years ago. The same stigma was attached to both The Evil Dead and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (which is loosely based on the true story of Ed Gein from Plainfield, Wisconsin). Ed's story, BTW, was the impetus behind additional classics such as "Psycho" and more recently "Silence of the Lambs", the latter of which is even more closely related to Ed's actual fetish.

Yes, I am a B-movie Trivia Buff.
