what are these wires for???

I have an 84T parts car that I am getting ready to yank the engine and drop it into my 73 Vega. I found a couple wires breaking out of the harness on the driver's side at the front of the engine where the fuel pump prime wire breaks out. The wires are a brown and a yellow. The connector is broken off, so that is no help. I can't find these wires in any of the books I have and nothing else is unplugged. The car does have a digital dash where my other 84 and my 2 85's don't. Anyone know what they are for or where they go? Please email me since I still haven't fixed my other computer and still can't reply on the list.

I know there is a connector under the coil pack area that dont plug into anything.......but I am not sure the colors on them...........got a pic of the wires..........maybe someone can help you out better that way...........post a pic if you can.... nick

hey,since we're on the subject,which wire is that?i've never pumped my street gas out before,but i was thinking about it for later this year.
