What CR are you running

Turbokid what gears do you run in your car? What cam? Please help with some info as i am in the building process.

Lonnie: I run 9:1 in both of my S2 motors. Boost is set at 29#. Heads are 43 - 43.5 CC. One motor is a narrow journal, 3.62 stroke, the other a wide journal, 3.59 stroke. Both on center. Turbo's are PTE 68's. Gears are 4:10 with 32X14X15 Eagles. 60' are 1.20 off back wheel. MPH is 179.7 at 7800 RPM. Car weighs 2700#. 5.10 in 1/8 @ 142 MPH. I run a Glide with 1.76 1st gear.

I agree with Bill Anderson that lower boost and higher compression are key ingredients to fast spool time. If I don't bump in at 3500 RPM, I would never have enough time to spool up on the limiter. I would die on a pro-tree.
