What do this wire connect to???

This runs with the wire going to the coil pack... (this was plugged into the green connector which caused my dash rpm to not work)... So where does this brown connection go???

Mine is disconnected(after market temp gauge) but it probably is the coolant sensor idiot light. Check out the wireing harness thread on page two. Brad

on my car, the temp idiot light wire is green, and it's on the front of the intake behind the alternator.
i have a white wire with a plug like that just hanging out not plugged into anything in about the same area as the pic.

I checked this wire when I put my electric fan on, it was hot so I wired the relay to it, is this gonna be ok?
