ok as of right now im going to keep it and just put everything back to stock...

i mean the car is pretty close..

should i get rid of the blue tops and go stock inj. and get rid of the alky

the stock chips makes my car run like **** so should i get rid of it

i think i will keep the K&n and the FP regulator and test pipe..

but i have a few guys comeing this weekend to look at it.. should i sell. if i cant get 7k out of it i think i will keep it..

sorry im so scatter brained i just dont know what to do..

Unless you plan on painting it yourself, you better plan on spending a whole lot more than 3K to do the needed repairs + paint.

A quality paint job here will cost you a lot more than the $3K you want to borrow.

FWIW, if the car was a hardtop, you would have guys crawling all over it.

Unfortunately, T-top cars here go to $hit real fast here. Never seen a T-Topper on island that didnt leak... (Steve's may have been the only exception, but the car was always garaged and in immaculate condition)

Don't just throw parts at it. Get it tuned right!

I bet you wouldn't want to sell it after that.......

Steve's car didn't leak until we told the guy who bought it NOT to take them off.... you know how that goes..... he just HAD to take it off, and now it leaks!!!

I fixed my 69 Vette with a caulking gun!

Damn GM Ttops

Another good idea to keep it because look at www.kbb.com

A good condition 86-87 GN is worth way over $20k now!

Yep... prices have really turned on these cars... I hope the rest of the G bodies follow suit

They wont pay that here, but if you know your moving back to the mainland I would keep it to sell it, if that is what you want to do. I personaly would keep it, you'll be kicking yourself in the a** 10-15 years from now when it is worth a lot more. BTW My T-tops dont leak, unless you count on the side where the excess water drips off, but that more of a side seal issue. I would take mine off more often if I didnt have the roll cage.

The cage is the reason your car doesnt leak... as much... The design of the seal is what causes the leaks... MOST of them leaked when new...

Keeps the chassis from flexing
