What fuel pressure should I see at idle?

I can't find any of my books, I see 28 PSI fuel pressure at idle (stock 85 SFI). Isn't it supposed to be between 28 and 32???

Hi,
Sounds like you are pretty close to the mark, possibly your gauge is inaccurate. Idle fuel pressure should be around 32 psi stock, with vacuum hose disconnected, it goes to 38-40 psi.I lost my train of thought here, what other symptoms are you experiencing?
