What happens when you're not paying attention...

Here's what I inadvertently did to the driver's side brace lower mounting tab this morning. ARRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!

Uh-Oh!

Oh, yeah - I was pissed! I ended up taking the piece to a welding shop and it looked like this after I got it back.

The shop was great - they did it while I waited.

I brought it home and drilled a new mounting hole and then put a flat washer on behind the tab so I wouldn't do the same dumb thing again. The bracket is now on the car and buttoned up and I'm about to tackle the passenger side piece - that should be fun from the way it looks!

It's an intercooler brace

I forgot to say what the brace was for - it's the driver's side mounting brace for the Mease 24 Row Stock Location intercooler.

Due to the incredibly ridiculous 10 minute rule for editing, I couldn't fix the original post.
