It is the pressure regulator assembly and dose not go in the vb it gose in the pump body. It is the hole next to the one the trans filter goes in. The hole that is to the drivers side of the trans filer hole and it will have a snap ring in it. Bcarefull when you remove the snap ring as the ass. may pop out (if yourlucky) other wise you may need to to tap it it a few time while holding a screw driver up to it and tap the the screw driver and work it up and down til it drops out also the valve itself (stem) may not come down with it it can be worked out w/ screw driver but a small pen type magnet works better for me. Most of all make sure you reinstall the new setup in the right orientation. Valve (stem) w/hole up first, spring, rev. valve small end down, and tv valve w/ smooth flat side down then snap ring w/sharpest corner (edge) down.
