The only one I've ever heard of is the Spearco kit and they are looong gone. Other than them your only other option is a custom setup. You can try searching the for sale section but I don't think any company makes them anymore. Why not hit up Razor for an alky kit? Its the next best thing to an intercooler, and you get to keep the hot air status.;)

Been there - done that!

I got in on a group purchase of sorts way way back from a Turbomotion V2 kit. Had some issues with a business closing, a break and enter then a dissappearing salesman (with our cash) but that was fixed through some person tracking and investigating....anyway.....

I ended up buying a kit that is actually relatively simple to reproduce yourself.

Use an 87 intake. Cut the dog house off and have it modified to have an angled roof (I can provide several pics) to provide clearance for the turbo - which is mounted in the stock 84-85 location. The turbo outlet (compressed air) exits via some pre bent exhaust tubing and connected by turbo hose (Turbohoses.com). It's then piped forward to my stock 87 IC that is mounted in front of the pulley's on the engine. A couple rods with threaded ends for the IC to bolt up to holds it in place. I have mine bolted to the accessory brackets on one end and the IC on the other. You then need an 87 TB, vacuum block, throttle cable and bracket. The intercooled air then leaves the IC and is piped into the TB and then into the intake. I also have a K&N filter and cold air setup with an F body mass air meter that feeds the turbo with fresh air.

In order to do this you need to go electric fan style if you havent already - this creates the space required to mount the IC. I used an F body rad and Ramchargers dual fans hooked up to the stock wiring - kicking the fan on as required.

I also grabbed Razor's Alky kit and its associated chip to compliment the TA33.

Its a bit of work but man the throttle response and power increase is well worth it!

I love the setup and like I said...its relatively simple to reproduce youself.

if you want to go intercooled just get the top and front off an 87 and do it that way.

In the signature block...

Did it all...

Hot-Air TA-33 ATR exhaust
Spearco Set up
V-2 conversion
alky
Nitrous

In the end... went to an '87 intake, and '87 set up.

- Larger downpipe
- Larger turbo is possible

Do it right the first time if you convert...
